I bought this rolling pin specifically because it came with the 1/4-inch guide ring, and honestly, that’s been the game changer for me.
I bake a lot, mostly sugar cookies, and getting dough evenly rolled has always been a bit of a guessing game. Too thick in some spots, too thin in others. With the 1/4-inch piece attached, I don’t have to think about it. The dough comes out consistently even every time, which has made a noticeable difference in how things bake.
The rings themselves are easy to slide on and off, and they stay put while you’re working. I was a little worried they’d loosen or wobble, but that hasn’t been an issue. The 1/4-inch size is perfect for sugar cookies and anything where you want a slightly thicker, softer bite.
The rolling pin itself feels solid….good weight, smooth surface, easy to clean. Dough doesn’t stick much, especially with a light dusting of flour.
Overall, if you’re someone who likes precision (or just wants more consistent results without overthinking it), the ring guide makes this totally worth it. It’s one of those small upgrades that actually improves your baking right away.

This set is excellent. The mat stays put, like others I have owned. It washes up easily and keeps the counters clean. The rolling pin is a nice weight and the rings are a game changer -- it takes away the guessing game of dough thickness. Highly recommend.
I am OBSESSED with my Rainbow Roller! I already owned a rolling pin — it just wasn’t very good. It was one of those cheaper, super smooth ones you find on Amazon, and my dough would either stick or come out uneven every time. I just assumed I was bad at baking.
The Rainbow Roller is such a noticeable upgrade. The rings take all the guesswork out and everything actually turns out even. I'm never going back to cheap baking products again...I highly recommend this product!
I absolutely love my Rainbow Roller and dough mat! The roller is not only adorable but practical. I'm an inexperienced baker and was struggling with thin spots in my dough. But no more! And the mat prevents everything from slipping and sliding around (and is easy to clean). I highly recommend both products!
